Amaicha and the Quilmes Ruins Situated in the Calchaquíes Valleys, Amaicha
it’s well known for its production of home made wine, alfajores,
turrones and quesillos. You can buy tweeds of alpaca and vicuña.
It has a comfortable camping. Nearby you can visit the Pachamama Complex,
that lodges a museum with 4 rooms dedicated, respectively, to ethnology,
geology, tapestry and painting and a patio with sculptures; Los Zazos
- 5 km away-, little settlement that produces hand made products and patero
wines. |
