Cachí Cachi is a little town located 157 km away from Salta
City and 2280 meters above the sea level that is born in the union of
the rivers Cachi and Calchaquí. It has the characteristic mixture
of the towns of the north: the colonial styles but mixed with details
of the pre-Columbian art. As far as the gastronomy is concerned, there
are cafes, restaurants and dining rooms near the main square where you
can taste different local dishes: humitas, tamales, locro or empanadas.
